Epilepsy

2014
Tangible color matching game
In collaboration with Camille Morizot and Stephen Ou
Produced at UCLA Game Lab / HEAD Media Design workshop

Epilepsy is fast-paced, two player color matching game, which uses an Arduino color sensor and translucent colored acrylic as an interface. The software prompts the player with a word hinting at a color. These suggestions can be individual words or full sentences, sometimes presented with a misleading background. To score points, the player must combine the acrylic cards and put them inside the interface, before pressing a button to confirm the selection. The player with the most points when the timer is elapsed, wins.
Epilepsy was built with Camille Morizot and Stephen Ou during a two-day game jam workshop organized by the UCLA Game Lab in collaboration with HEAD Media Design.
